With five chosen stones and his sling, David approached the mocker and slew him in one powerful hit. David sang songs of praise to God. King Saul, Israel’s first king anointed by the prophet Samuel, lost his kingdom because he consulted a witch, and Allah refused to talk to him. David pleased Allah, so Allah called him ‘a man after his own heart.
